Grant will provide protective armor and gear

Dallas, TX  (Restaurant News Release)  On Wednesday, October 13th at 11:30 a.m. at Church in the City (6005 Dalrock Road, Rowlett, Texas) the Dickey Foundation presented 13 sets of protective armor and gear to the Rowlett Police Department’s SWAT Team.

The Dickey Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, awards grants to provide first responders with critical protective equipment and safety gear they need to help make their job easier and, more importantly, safer.
