T-BONES Carrot Cake Better Than New York Times?Bedford, NH  (Restaurant News Release)  It all started when Great NH Restaurants CEO Tom Boucher saw a carrot cake recipe from renowned New York Times – New York Times Carrot Cake.  Boucher remembered when the T-BONES team put their carrot cake on the menu at their Salem location that opened in 1984. Ever since, the T-BONES carrot cake has become an all-time favorite with guests and the cherished recipe has stood the test of time….some 40 years! The T-BONES carrot cake is crafted with care and love daily by head baker Michael Rasmussen who brings his 22 year career to perfecting his craft and ensuring all of the T-BONES desserts embody the essence of homemade goodness and traditional baking.

Boucher was convinced that the T-BONES carrot cake would triumph over the New York Times and challenged his team to do a blind taste test to find out. Ten participants took part in the informal study and 9 out of 10 chose the T-BONES’ Classic Carrot Cake the winner. “I knew it!” Boucher exclaimed when the results came in, “This taste test reaffirms the enduring appeal and exceptional quality of a recipe that has been a staple on our menu since 1984.
