Restaurant offering Chicken Finger Plate special during opening week
Atlanta, GA (Restaurant News Release) Saucy chicken chain Zaxby’s® is opening its newest location in Gainesville, Florida at 7300 W. Newberry Rd. The new Zaxby’s, owned and operated by Shaun Morris, Boris Ochsenius, Blake Fletcher, and Cotton Fletcher of BSBC Go Gators, LLC., will be opening for both drive-thru and dine-in on Monday, May 13. To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will host a ribbon cutting event at 10 a.m. and offer a four Chicken Finger Plate special* for $8.99 during the opening week. Zaxby’s Chicken Finger Plate comes with four hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz™ with Zax Sauce® and is served with coleslaw, Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries and a small drink.
“Having grown up here, Gainesville holds a special place in our hearts. Since we started franchising our own locations, our friends and family have asked us when we would bring Zaxby’s chicken to our own backyard,” said Shaun Morris, owner and partner of BSBC GO Gators LLC. “Boris and I started working at Zaxby’s as teenagers, eventually leading to a partnership with Blake and Cotton Fletcher. Together, we look forward to opening our 12th location and bringing our first location to our hometown.”
The new 3,097 square feet restaurant can accommodate up to 50 guests inside its dining room and features Zaxby’s classic white farmhouse exterior design. The restaurant is equipped with a double drive-through and digital menu boards inside and outside to streamline the ordering process and provide fast, top-tier to-go service. For even faster service, customers may also order ahead online via Zaxbys.com as well as through the Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store. Ordering for delivery is available directly through the Zaxby’s app, as well as through UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub and EZ Cater.
Zaxby’s serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz™ and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu also features Zaxby’s famous Signature Sandwich, its wildly popular Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and the brand’s fan-favorite Fried Pickles.
Most recently, Zaxby’s added Southern Fried Shrimp* as its latest limited time offer (LTO) to its menu. After 30+ years of perfecting chicken, featuring seafood on its menu is a first for the Georgia-based brand. Zaxby’s Southern Fried Shrimp comes as a meal or as a standalone side paired with Zaxtail Sauce, Zaxby’s newest delicious addition to its acclaimed “saucefolio” of 12 signature sauces.
For the new Gainesville location, BSBC Go Gators, LLC contracted several local companies including Fletcher Construction, Pinnacle Site Solutions, High Springs Electric, One Stop Flooring, Groundstrike Landscaping and Southern Air Systems of North Florida.
