Free Tacos in Celebration of Dorado Tacos & Cemitas’ One-Year Anniversary Thursday, July 29, 2010

BOSTON  (RestaurantNewsRelease.com)  Dorado Tacos & Cemitas of Brookline, MA is celebrating its’ one-year anniversary by offering free Ensenda-style fish tacos to the public Thursday, July 29, 2010. To improve service, free tacos will be available 12:30PM-1:30PM, 4:30PM-5:30PM and 6:30PM-7:30PM. Dorado Tacos & Cemitas provides innovative Mexican-style street food by preparing fresh, seasonal and traditional tacos, cemitas and other authentic dishes.

Within only a year of opening, the original Mexican eatery has developed a loyal following in Brookline and throughout Boston based on their dedication to quality food and environmental sustainability. Since July 2009, Dorado Tacos & Cemitas has served over 12,000 cemitas and 75,000 fish tacos, which is more than one taco for every person living in Brookline.

“We are very excited to celebrate our one-year anniversary here in Brookline,” said co-owner, Michael Brau. “We’re giving out one free taco on July 29th as a thank you to our customers who supported us in our first year and as an invitation for new customers to try our delicious tacos.”

Dorado Tacos & Cemitas distinguishes itself by offering rare and flavorful items, created by Chef Doug Organ, which satisfies any palate craving Mexican food. Unique to Boston, the menu features the cemita, which is a popular sandwich from the south central Mexican state of Puebla. Another specialty is the Baja California-style fish taco.

Other foods include elote (grilled seasoned corn on the cob), quesadillas, tortilla soup, yucca chips and vegetarian options. The menu also offers aguas frescas (watermelon and lemon juice with mint), jamaica (hibiscus) tea, Mexican sodas, beer and Sangria.
