Starting July 10, premium culinary series Kura Reserve returns with tangy Japanese citrus flavors
Irvine, CA (Restaurant News Release) Kura Sushi USA, Inc., the nation’s largest brand of revolving sushi restaurants, announces the launch of four Kura Reserve limited-time menu items infused with authentic Japanese yuzu now available at participating Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations, while supplies last. This curated collection of fresh ingredients sourced from Japan enhanced with tangy, citrus flavor shines bright for a refreshing summer escape.
A Burst of Sunshine with Every Bite:
- Seared Yuzu Jalapeño Alfonsino (Kinmedai): Enjoy the rich and buttery texture of Alfonsino (Kinmedai) from Kagoshima, Japan. Each slice is seared, topped with yuzu jalapeño and layered over Kura specialty rice.
- Seared Yuzu Dashi Oil Squid: House-made yuzu dashi oil drizzled over seared squid from Aomori, Japan topped with bonito flakes layered over Kura specialty rice.
- Yuzu Dashi Oil Yellowtail: Decadent cuts of yellowtail from Kagoshima, Japan drizzled in house-made yuzu dashi oil, topped with bonito flakes and layered over Kura specialty rice.
- Yuzu Honey Jelly Parfait: Tangy yuzu jelly, creamy vanilla ice cream, and sweet frozen strawberry, topped with a drizzle of honey.

Rounding out this limited-time menu are Seared Squid nigiri – lightly salted seared tender squid with a lemon wedge, and Kura Reserve Standard nigiri sushi favorites Bluefin Tuna Otoro – tender bluefin tuna belly and Kumamoto Wagyu – marbled Japanese wagyu beef topped with garlic chips.
