Slow-smoked barbeque, scratch-made sides and a neighborly welcome are coming to Middle Tennessee
Murfreesboro, TN (Restaurant News Release) City Barbeque is excited to become part of the Murfreesboro community with the opening of its newest joint on July 20 at 107 N. Thompson Lane.
To celebrate, City Barbeque will host a Rib’n & Ribbon Cutting with the Rutherford County Chamber at 10 a.m. The first 50 guests in line will receive a gift bag featuring a branded T-shirt, a bottle of signature sauce and gift cards ranging from $5 to $50.
For more than 25 years, City Barbeque has believed great barbeque is about more than what’s coming out of the smoker. It’s about bringing people together around the table. Every day, meats are smoked on site over hickory wood, sides and desserts are made from scratch and guests are welcomed like neighbors. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner, a family celebration or catching up with friends, City Barbeque strives to create a place where everyone feels at home.

Guests can enjoy smoked brisket, pulled pork, St. Louis ribs, smoked turkey and chicken alongside scratch-made favorites like mac and cheese, baked beans, collard greens, fried okra and coleslaw. In addition to dine-in, carryout and delivery, the new joint will offer full-service catering for office lunches, school events, celebrations and gatherings of all sizes, just in time for football season.
City Barbeque Murfreesboro will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, with extended hours until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
