Allstate Food Marketing Merges with Harvest Foods, Increases Brokerage Footprint by Two States

Orlando, FL  (Restaurant News Release)  Allstate Food Marketing (AFM) has finalized the agreement to acquire and merge with Harvest Foods. The merger of the two companies increases AFM’s brokerage footprint from two states to four: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The combined organization now includes seven regional offices in four states with over 130 employees.

President of Allstate Food Marketing, David Murphy had this to say about the merger, “The cultural fit between our two organizations will only make us stronger. What I am most excited about is this is still a people business and this reinforces that fact that we have the best people in the business.”

The Harvest Foods brand will stay in the market as “AFM Harvest,” while operations in Charlotte, NC and Lexington, SC will also remain in place. Eric Chapman, Regional VP of the Carolinas, is enthusiastic about the merger, saying, “I’m excited about the coming together of our two companies and I am looking forward to joining the AFM Partnership.”
