Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery Takes Home Seven Medals from 2010 Great American Beer Festival

LOUISVILLE, Colo.  (Restaurant News Release)  Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, headquartered in Louisville, Colo. is honored, once again, with multiple medals at the annual Great American Beer Festival® (GABF), which was held in Denver last month. Having 35+ brewers brewing over 700 unique and distinctive beers, Rock Bottom continues to add “hardware” to an already impressive trophy case of 125+ medals and awards by picking-up two gold, three silver and two bronze medals at this year’s GABF. The 2010 competition set new records in attendance and number of beers entered in competition. The GABF remains the largest commercial beer competition in the world and sold out weeks in advance, despite a continued tough economy.

Held annually in Denver, CO, the GABF is the world’s largest beer tasting competition. This year’s event topped beer entries over prior year by nine percent with 3,523 different beers competing for gold, silver and bronze medals in 79 different categories. Over 49,000 attended the three-day event.
