Sunny Street Cafe Debuts New Winter MenuColumbus, OH  (Restaurant News Release)  Breakfast-Lunch favorite Sunny Street Café® announced a new Limited Time Offer menu, available at all of the chain’s 14 locations. The menu was designed to bring both distinct and hearty options to guests during the winter.

“Our aim is to continually keep things both unique and delicious,” said Mike Stasko, Vice President of Brand Strategy. “Our culinary team tested a variety of these items this fall, and all got a great response. We think it’s a great mix of interesting, hearty items that are perfect for the winter months.”

Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes lead the charge at breakfast. Sunny Street’s “Big as the Plate” buttermilk pancakes are made with caramelized pineapple and a vanilla cream glaze. Also new are made from scratch Caramel Apple Muffins, a Country Ham & Cheese Omelette, and Banana Bread Oatmeal, made with rolled oats, honey, brown sugar and bananas.

For lunch, the Fancy Ham & Cheese has already become a popular item. “We use country ham, Jarlsberg and Swiss cheese, and top with a fried egg to make an amazing ‘knife and fork’ sandwich,” Stasko said. “It’s our take on a Croque Madame.” Sunny Street Café has also continued their line of homemade soups with the new White Bean Rosemary Soup. Other offerings include Mr. Big Stuff, a Black Angus burger made with Jarlsberg, caramelized onions and herb mayo, and a hand breaded Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich.

The menu, with new items detailed below, is currently available in all 14 Sunny Street Café locations throughout Ohio, Texas, Missouri and Alabama. Two new restaurants will be opening early 2015 in the Upper Arlington and Blacklick markets of Columbus, OH. The menu is also available for viewing at www.sunnystreetcafe.com.
