Limited-time menu additions include Chicken Flaquitos, Summer Shrimp Ceviche, Tortas and more
Los Angeles, CA (Restaurant News Release) Tocaya is leaning into summer with a vibrant happy hour featuring a fresh lineup of drink specials, shareable bites and tortas. Available at all eight locations, the menu is designed for gatherings with friends and laid-back summer afternoons.
Throughout the summer, diners can take advantage of drink specials, including $3 beers, as well as wine and margaritas starting at $6 all day–everyday for a limited time. The summer happy hour food menu is available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The offerings include two exclusives available on the regular menu and for happy hour: Chicken Flaquitos and Summer Shrimp Ceviche. The additions join Tocaya’s growing selection of shareable snacks and pair perfectly with the brand’s seasonal drinks.
The Chicken Flaquitos feature crispy flour tortillas filled with house-made chicken tinga, smashed pinto beans and Oaxaca cheese, finished with a creamy salsa verde. Golden and crunchy on the outside with a rich, savory center, they deliver layers of smoky flavor balanced with a tangy finish. For guests looking for something lighter, the Summer Shrimp Ceviche combines poached shrimp with a Tapatio™ and lime marinade, smoky heirloom tomato and jalapeño sauce, and tortilla chips for scooping.

In addition to the shareables, Tocaya has expanded its happy hour menu with tortas: the Chicken and Potato Torta, featuring seasoned chicken and potatoes on toasted bread, and the Birria Torta, made with slow-cooked birria for a rich, savory flavor.
