First 100 guests score free Mini Warrior Bowls, limited-edition merch and more during grand opening celebration
Washington, DC (Restaurant News Release) South Block, the northern Virginia-born brand known for handcrafted acai bowls, fresh smoothies and a mission to spread positivity one block at a time, will open its newest location in Tenleytown at 4523 Wisconsin Ave. NW on Saturday, July 11.
The festivities begin at 11 a.m. with FREE Mini Warrior Acai Bowls and exclusive swag for the first 100 people in line. Plus, the first 50 guests in line will get a limited edition South Block cloth tote bag.
Located in Washington, DC in the vibrant Tenleytown neighborhood, the shop joins an area known for its walkability, local character and blend of residential charm and city energy.
“What drew us to Tenleytown was the sense that people here genuinely love and enjoy the neighborhood,” said Amir Mostafavi, CEO and founder of South Block. “There’s movement throughout the day, but it never loses that personal feel. The Tenleytown shop will serve the brand’s lineup of made-to-order bowls, smoothies, juices, toasts and other popular offerings crafted with fresh fruits and organic, fair-trade acai. Guests can cool off this summer with colorful and refreshing staples like the Warrior Bowl, Strawberry Cloud Smoothie, Super Green Smoothie and the Almond Butter Bowl, alongside protein-packed smoothies and other satisfying bites designed to fuel busy days on the go.
Beyond the menu, South Block has built a loyal community around its Mission of Making People Feel Awesome one block at a time by spreading good vibes and serving nutritious food.
Open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Tenleytown location marks South Block’s 26th store across Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
