Fast casual concept expands presence in The Bayou City with fourth Shop
Houston, TX (Restaurant News Release) Original ChopShop, known for its feel good bowls, salads, sandwiches and more, is officially opening its newest Shop at 10100 Katy Freeway, Suite 180 on July 15 in Houston’s Memorial City District.
Located at the intersection of Gessner Road and Old Katy Road, the new Shop sits at the base of MetroNational’s 6-story office tower near Kirby Ice House, bringing convenient, fast and affordable feel good meals for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner to one of Houston’s busiest areas. Guests can customize meals that fit their preferences and choose from a diverse menu featuring protein bowls, salads, sandwiches, juices, protein shakes, superfruit bowls and all-day breakfast. The offerings are designed to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan and protein-focused lifestyles.
In celebration of the opening, doors will open at 10 a.m., and the first 50 guests in line will receive an Original ChopShop tote bag with the purchase of any breakfast entrée, bowl, salad or sandwich. Additionally, guests who download the Original ChopShop app and spend $7 or more within 20 days of registration will receive 30 days of $3 off rewards.
The brand remains committed to “Fueling The Well-Being” of the communities it serves. To support that mission, the brand will donate 10% of opening-day proceeds to Mental Health America of Greater Houston, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental wellness, education and advocacy throughout the Greater Houston area.

Following opening day, Original ChopShop Memorial City will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
