California-inspired taco shop expands in the East Bay with authentic flavors, vibrant design, and an immersive guest experience
Danville, CA (Restaurant News Release) Chronic Tacos, the California-inspired taco shop known for its authentic Mexican flavors and laid-back Southern California vibe, is excited to announce the upcoming grand opening event at its newest location in Danville. The new restaurant is now officially open and will bring the brand’s signature #TacoLife experience to the East Bay while showcasing a one-of-a-kind artistic environment created by internationally recognized street artists.
To celebrate its arrival, Chronic Tacos Danville will host a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, August 1st 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring a lineup of special offers, live entertainment, giveaways, and family-friendly activities for the community.

Located at 420 Diablo Rd., the new Danville restaurant is owned and operated by multi-unit franchisees Kalpesh and Pinal Vaidya, who also own the recently opened Chronic Tacos location in Redondo Beach. The Danville restaurant marks another milestone in the couple’s continued expansion with the brand.
As part of Chronic Tacos’ commitment to creating memorable guest experiences, the Danville location will feature custom artwork from Valyou Art Group featuring renowned muralist Dehmq. The artists are widely known for their large-scale street art installations and have worked closely with the founders of Dave’s Hot Chicken for years, designing vibrant artwork featured throughout the brand’s restaurant locations.
“Every Chronic Tacos location has its own personality, and the Danville restaurant is going to be something truly special,” explained Randy Wyner, Founder of Chronic Tacos. “The artwork will create an incredible atmosphere that complements our fresh food, authentic flavors, and Southern California energy. The new restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery options, serving Chronic Tacos’ full menu of customizable tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, breakfast items, and fan favorites including California Burritos and Chronic Fries. Guests can walk the prep line and personalize their meals with a variety of fresh ingredients prepared daily.
