Popular Hawaiian-style restaurant brings traditional island comfort food to the Northern Midwest July 13
Burnsville, MN (Restaurant News Release) Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food is making big waves in Minnesota, introducing the Land of 10,000 Lakes to traditional Hawaiian flavors for the first time with a new Burnsville restaurant opening on July 13.
Located at 410 County Road, the restaurant is nestled between the Burnsville Plaza and I-35, right across from the Burnsville Mall, making it a perfect spot for locals seeking new, flavor-packed meal options. The opening will give Dakota County diners a taste of the Hawaiian comfort plates that make the brand beloved across the country.
Mo’ Bettahs will mark this monumental expansion with a two-day Friends and ‘Ohana celebration event on July 10 and July 11 ahead of the official opening on July 13. Customers visiting Friday and Saturday will be welcomed by founders Kimo and Kalani Mack and can enjoy a complimentary mini plate and drink for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. along with tasty spam musubi samples and exclusive Mo’ Bettahs swag. Saturday guests can watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. and celebrate at the block-party-style dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. with event entertainment including face painting, caricatures, a photo booth, and lawn games.
From the handpicked interior decor to each delicious dish, Mo’ Bettahs gives guests a taste of Hawaiian culture and flavors while nodding to the importance of authentic island living. The restaurant’s staple, the traditional lunch plate, offers a variety of fresh, indulgent choices, from classic grilled teriyaki chicken or steak to local flavors like kalua pig or pulehu chicken, all served with steamed rice, veggies or macaroni salad.
“Growing up in Hawai’i, sharing a meal was one of the most meaningful ways to bring people together,” said co-founder Kalani Mack. “As we welcome guests in Burnsville, we hope they leave with more than a great meal – they’ll experience the hospitality, traditions and sense of family that have been part of our lives from the very beginning.”
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Sundays. Guests can dine in, order takeout or explore catering options.
