The Habit Burger Grill Opens Third Bay Area Location in San Mateo, CA With Charity Events Donating 100% of Proceeds To Share Our Strength, The Peninsula Family YMCA, and The Muscular Dystrophy Association Charity Partners
San Mateo, CA (Restaurant News Release) The Habit Burger Grill, a California-based restaurant brand, announced today the opening of its third Bay area location on Wednesday, March 7 in San Mateo located at 1100 Park Place. With an existing restaurant in Walnut Creek, and hot on the heels of its brand new grand opening on February 22 in Pleasanton, The Habit continues its expansion in its home-state with this new San Mateo restaurant, and will also be opening one more restaurant in Northern California in early 2012.
Eager San Mateo and local area residents can get a sneak peek of the tasty menu during The Habit’s charity tie-in events on Sunday March 4, and Monday, the 5th. On Sunday the 4th, The Habit will be open for lunch (from 12-2 p.m.) and dinner (from 5-7 p.m.) and on Monday the 5th will be open for lunch (12-2 p.m.) and will donate 100% of all proceeds on those days to their charity partners Share Our Strength, the Peninsula Family YMCA, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (respectively).
The Habit in San Mateo officially opens at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 and will be open Monday – Saturday from 10:30am–10pm and 11am–9pm on Sundays. Compared to other “fast casual” or other “gourmet burger” establishments, The Habit Burger offers high quality food and great service at reasonable prices ($2.95 for an original ‘Charburger’). The Habit also serves freshly grilled sandwiches, specialty salads tossed to order, onion rings, sweet potato fries and a variety of hand-blended shakes and malts.
