Iconic brunch spot celebrates Southwest Austin opening with brunch favorites, giveaways and community giveback
Austin, TX (Restaurant News Release) Snooze Eatery is officially opening its newest Lone Star State location on Friday, May 22, bringing its signature brunch lineup of craveable Benedicts, Pancake Flights and more to the Arbor Trails community.
Located at 4301 W. William Cannon Drive, Building H, Suite 105, in the Arbor Trails Shopping Center, the festivities will kick off at 6:30 a.m. The first 50 guests to purchase an entrée will receive a limited-edition giveaway package featuring exclusive Snooze merchandise, including a commemorative mug, a gift card and a tote bag. Ahead of the grand opening, Snooze will host a special community day on May 21, benefiting Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, with 100% of the day’s sales going directly to the nonprofit.
“Austin has shown up for Snooze in a huge way over the years, and opening our fifth location here feels incredibly special,” said Brian Loeb, executive vice president of marketing at Snooze Eatery. “We’re excited to continue growing in this community while bringing along the heart of what made South Lamar such an important part of the brand.”
The opening of Snooze Arbor Trails represents a new chapter for Snooze’s South Lamar team, with the majority of Snoozers and the management team transitioning following the May 15, 2026, closure. Longtime guests will still spot familiar faces delivering the upbeat energy and hospitality that turned the restaurant into a neighborhood staple. Snooze is also welcoming new members as the brand continues expanding its local footprint.
“At Snooze, we’ve always believed brunch should feel fun, welcoming and connected to the community around it,” said Jordan Russell, director of brand marketing at Snooze Eatery. “Arbor Trails gives us the opportunity to create a space that feels distinctly Austin while continuing to take care of the guests and Snoozers who have supported us for over ten years.”
Snooze Arbor Trails marks Snooze’s fifth location in the Austin market, joining North Lamar, East Austin, Cedar Park and Kyle. This restaurant will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The opening also arrives during Snooze’s 20th anniversary celebration. Earlier this year, the brand launched its nationwide SnoozeFest Pancake Flight giveaway that will send three winners and their guests to Chicago for a private “Pancake Flight” jet experience, a stay at the “Snooze Motel” and VIP tickets to Lollapalooza from July 30 through Aug. 2, 2026.
