Buena Park, CA (Restaurant News Release) One of Southern California’s most celebrated entertainment destinations is about to get a lot more mysterious as The Speakeasy Murder & Other Acts of Prohibition makes its highly anticipated West Coast debut on Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Buena Park (7600 Beach Blvd.). As the acclaimed eatertainment experience opens its second location in the country, it joins some of the most beloved theme parks and entertainment attractions on the West Coast, adding something entirely its own: a fully immersive, interactive murder mystery dinner experience that puts every guest at the center of the story.
From the moment guests step through the doors, they are transported into the glamour and electricity of a 1920s New York-style nightclub. The room hums with bootleggers, gangsters and flappers, live music fills the air, and signature cocktails flow alongside a beautifully served three-course prix fixe dinner. But when the music stops, a deadly plot begins. Colorful, captivating characters weave through the audience as the evening’s thrilling whodunnit unfolds – full of bribes, secrets and surprises, with every twist driven by audience votes. Guests are invited to play detective, or accomplice, as much or as little as they choose. Will the killer be unmasked, or will they slip away into the night?

A Three-Course Dinner With a Deadly Twist
The Speakeasy Murder experience is designed to be as seamless as it is thrilling. Each performance includes a served three-course prix fixe dinner with a selection of chicken, pasta, vegetarian and vegan options, along with a gluten-free pasta option and kid-friendly meals for Jr. detectives. Salmon and filet mignon upgrades are also available, as are optional signature cocktails. Dietary accommodations, including allergies and sensitivities, are honored with advance notice – ensuring every guest feels as welcome as they are entertained.
The show is rated PG-13 and perfect for adults, friends, families and Jr. detectives alike, making it one of the most versatile and inclusive nights out in Orange County.

The Speakeasy Murder is created and produced by EG Murder Media, founded by Erik Hastings, Emmy-Award Winning Comic Writer and TV Host (Erik the Travel Guy, Beyond Your Backyard), and Gary Littman, Broadway and West End Theater Producer and accomplished Voiceover, TV and Stage Actor. The concept launched in Orlando, Florida in April 2025 to immediate acclaim, with the Buena Park location marking the brand’s first West Coast expansion.
