Premier driving destination to bring high-speed entertainment and elevated dining to North Dallas
Dallas, TX (Restaurant News Release) Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge, the Texas-born brand redefining motorsports hospitality through cutting-edge motion simulators, chef-driven cuisine and immersive social experiences, is revving up for its Dallas debut this July.
Located at 9830 N. Central Expressway, Suite 400, near Walnut Hill Lane and U.S. 75, the more than 10,000-square-foot space will feature the state’s largest collection of simulators, with over 30 state-of-the-art motion racing simulators alongside expansive viewing areas for devoted fans and first-time drivers alike. In addition, Velocity’s globally inspired menu will keep fans fueled and hanging around in the state’s most adrenaline-filled “eatertainment” venue.
This opening follows Velocity’s debut in Houston last year, introducing the concept to North Texas for the first time – with more space, more simulators and an upgraded dining and viewing experience.
“Dallas felt like the perfect next step for our concept because it’s a city that thrives on energy, competition and larger-than-life experiences,” said Viet Tran, founder of Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge. “The city is also home to an incredibly passionate car community and some of the region’s best tracks, making it a natural fit for what we’re building. There’s nothing else like this where guests can eat, drink and race all under one roof. Whether someone is passionate about sim racing or trying it for the first time, there’s something for everyone.”
The interior draws inspiration from racing culture at nearly every turn, with an open wheel race car suspended from the ceiling, motorcycles displayed throughout the space and lighting inspired by winding tracks greeting guests the moment they walk through the doors. At the center, a large bar serves as the focal point for happy hours, live viewing events and late-night fun, while more than 30 TVs with casting capabilities allow guests to watch friends compete on screen or follow major international motorsports competitions – such as NASCAR and IndyCar – in real time.
Velocity’s menu also keeps pace with the action, pairing chef-curated dishes and craft cocktails with the destination’s high-speed rhythm. Whether guests are fueling up with a quick bite before an intense head-to-head matchup or settling in for an evening of watch parties and friendly competition, offerings like the Akaushi Slider Tower, Chicken Ginger Meatballs, Warm Feta Dip and Togarashi Ahi Tuna Bowl are designed for meetups that stretch well beyond the checkered flag. The lineup also includes a signature Spicy Ancho Hot Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich, shareable tacos and wings that can be ordered traditional-style or as vegetarian cauliflower florets.
In addition to daily simulator sessions, Velocity will host recurring themed hangouts, competitive tournaments, ladies’ nights and large-scale viewing events tied to international racing series throughout the year. The venue will also open early ahead of major race broadcasts, giving fans a dedicated place to gather before the green flag.
Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge – Dallas will operate Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Fridays from noon to midnight, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with Tuesdays reserved for private events.
