Another Broken Egg Café to Open in Charleston with Events to Raise Money for Three NonprofitsCharleston, SC  (Restaurant News Release)  Double R Restaurant Group is pleased to announce the opening of Another Broken Egg Café (ABEC) on Monday, September 30. It is the first ABEC to open in South Carolina and the public is invited to come dine at no charge for three fundraising events. Donations can be made via cash, check or credit card and will be accepted for the featured nonprofits, each with its own special date.

Patrons must call 843-471-0353 to make a reservation as seating will be limited. Thursday, September 26 will benefit Charleston Library Friends http://www.charlestonlibraryfriends.org/ with seating available from 11 AM to 1 PM; Friday, September 27 will support Charleston Parks Conservancy http://www.charlestonparksconservancy.org/ with seating from 10 AM to 1 PM, and Saturday, September 28 will assist Crisis Ministries http://www.charlestonhomeless.org/; seating will be available from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Guests dining at Another Broken Egg Café have plenty of tempting dishes to choose from as the menu features 90 different choices including six varieties of Eggs Benedict, 11 different omelettes, an exceptional signature Bananas Foster over Belgian waffles, French toast or buttermilk pancakes, along with unique burgers and fresh salads. Menu prices range on average from $8 to $15 and for breakfast cocktails, don’t miss the Mimosa, Bellini, house-infused Mary or Absolute Fuzzy Navel priced at $5.99 each. Furthermore, ABEC’s new Healthy Side menu, which includes Granola, Fruit & Quinoa, Gluten Free Friendly Jumbo Pancakes, The Skinny Omelette, Steel Cut Oats and Simply Salmon, is also available at this new Charleston address.

Double R Restaurant Group was established in 2011 and is dedicated to opening restaurants that represent value, with a focus on fresh and comforting food.  It is currently ABEC’s largest franchisee.  The award-winning ABEC currently has 30 locations with more opening in 2013.  Each new ABEC creates approximately 30 new jobs in the community.

Another Broken Egg Café serves from 7 AM through 2 PM seven days a week, closing only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
