Guests can donate pre-packed backpacks, empty backpacks and new school supplies at participating Monterey’s Little Mexico and Casa Olé restaurants through September 1
Houston, TX (Restaurant News Release) Casina Hospitality is partnering with BEAR…BE A Resource to collect new backpacks and unopened school supplies for at-risk and CPS-involved children throughout the Greater Houston area.
Now through September 1, guests are invited to donate new backpacks and unopened school supplies at four participating Casina Hospitality restaurants: Monterey’s Little Mexico in Greenspoint, Humble and Alvin, and Casa Olé in Pasadena.
Casina Hospitality and BEAR hope to collect as many school-supply donations as possible. Guests may contribute backpacks pre-packed with new school supplies, new empty backpacks or individual loose school-supply items. Every donation will help provide local children with the resources they need to feel prepared, supported and confident in the classroom.
“Houston-area families have supported our restaurants for generations, and giving back to these communities is an important part of who we are,” said Lindsey Hunt, president of Casina Hospitality. “We are proud to partner with BEAR and give our guests an easy, meaningful way to help local children start the school year with the supplies – and the confidence – they deserve.”
