Counterculture-themed sandwich shop invites homies to celebrate 4/20 with nug deals, flying discs of fun and munchies galore
Fort Collins, CO (Restaurant News Release) Cheba Hut is once again claiming its unofficial ownership of 4/20 with a munchie-taming deal that’s both delicious and collectible. On Monday, April 20, all Cheba Hut “Toasted” Subs locations will offer $4.20 Nugs (the brand’s classic 4-inch toasted sub sandwiches) all day, while supplies last. Guests who snag the deal will also score a limited-edition commemorative frisbee – a giveaway that’s become a badge of honor for longtime homies.
Every year, Cheba Hut releases a fresh frisbee design that can only be found in the Chebasphere, which reflects the brand’s chilled out grooves and highly-inspired vibes, turning the giveaway into a must-have. For those not into playing Ultimate Frisbee, it doubles as a tray that can be used for homemade nugs, pinners and blunts. In towns where Cheba Hut fans know the drill, they often line up early to be among the first through the door, eager to add the newest design to their stash.
“4/20 is part of our DNA, and our crew shows up for it every year,” said Alex Kayne, senior vice president of marketing for Cheba Hut. “Between the $4.20 Nugs and this year’s limited-edition frisbee, it’s the perfect excuse to roll up, grab your go-to and let the Hut do what it does best: tame the munchies.”
Known for its laid-back atmosphere, counterculture attitude and cult-favorite menu, Cheba Hut’s toasted subs and roster of sides, snacks and sweets can satisfy any case of the munchies. Homies can choose the size – nugs, pinners and blunts – as well as bread – wheat, white or garlic. While the customized sub options are endless, some of the most popular options include:
- The White Widow – Grilled chicken breast, bacon, ranch, shrooms, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake seasoning and House Dressing
- Kali Mist – Roasted turkey breast, bacon, chipotle mayo, jalapeño, avocado, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake seasoning and House Dressing
- Dank – Genoa salami, pepperoni, marinara, double provolone and Shake seasoning
While details may vary by shop, Cheba Hut locations across the country are expected to celebrate in their own unique ways, reinforcing the brand’s community-first spirit and giving homies even more reason to pull up and hang out a while.
