Golden Chick Deepens Texas Rangers Partnership Through 2026 City Connect Collaboration

DFW brand expands one of the quick service restaurant industry’s more visible sports partnerships through fan-facing ballpark integration

Golden Chick Deepens Texas Rangers Partnership Through 2026 City Connect CollaborationDallas, TX  (Restaurant News ReleaseGolden Chick is continuing to deepen its long-running partnership with the Texas Rangers following the club’s reveal of its 2026 City Connect Jersey, which reimagines past Rangers uniforms while celebrating the Mexican influence in our state. To signal the ongoing and growing partnership, the popular Texas-rooted fried chicken brand will feature the new City Connect primary logo on its crew gear.

The moment builds on Golden Chick’s growing relationship with the club, which also includes a role as presenting sponsor of the Dot Race Results Bobblehead – the first collectible bobblehead giveaway of the 2026 Rangers season. The brand also recently extended its partnership with the Rangers through a new five-year agreement.

“As a Dallas-Fort Worth brand, our partnership with the Texas Rangers has always been about more than sponsorship. It’s about becoming part of the rituals, traditions and shared excitement surrounding local pride and fandom, to connect with our core Texas customers,” said Howard Terry, chief marketing officer of Golden Chick. “Our team members are proud to be part of this tradition, as we continue building on our partnership with the Rangers through the City Connect tie-in and beyond.”

Golden Chick first partnered with the Rangers in 2018 through sponsorship of the club’s longtime sixth-inning Dot Race, and the relationship has expanded significantly since then. Today, Golden Chick’s presence at Globe Life Field includes a Golden Chick location at the ballpark in Section 127, support of the Jr. Rangers Kids Club, promotional integrations and now multiple City Connect tie-ins that place the brand at the center of key fan moments throughout the season.

This year’s City Connect moment is especially meaningful as the Rangers’ new look celebrates the Mexican influence on the place we proudly call home. For Golden Chick, a Texas-born, family-owned brand with deep roots in the same market, the collaboration represents an opportunity to align with a jersey launch that carries both cultural significance and strong local resonance.

Golden Chick will feature the City Connect logo on crew uniforms for the second year and is the only Rangers sponsor doing so.

As quick service restaurant brands compete for share in a crowded market, local fan-rooted partnerships like this one are becoming less about logo placement and more about building year-round, in-market platforms that integrate food, fandom and community presence. For Golden Chick, the Rangers relationship has evolved into a multi-touchpoint platform that connects the brand with families and fans at some of the most visible and memorable moments of the baseball season.
