Charlotte, NC (Restaurant News Release) ASM Group, the team behind The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, eeZ & Tapside Pizza, have announced a new partnership with the Young 9 Foundation, founded by Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. Together, they have created the Young 9 Roll that will directly support youth mental health initiatives across the Carolinas.
Working closely with Bryce Young and his parents, Craig and Julie, ASM’s Master Sushi Chef Rifali Almunir developed a roll that is a unique blend of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Young 9 Roll features nori, sushi rice, sun-dried tomato, salmon, fresh basil and avocado on the inside and is topped with a torched miso glazed salmon, chili crunch and chives.
“We are excited to partner with Cowfish and eeZ and are very grateful for the commitment they have shared to collaborate with Young 9 Foundation in our efforts to support community mental health,” said Bryce Young.
Kicking off with the first Panthers preseason game on August 28, $5 from every Young 9 Roll sold for $21 at The Cowfish in Charlotte, The Cowfish in Raleigh and eeZ in Huntersville will be donated to the Young 9 Foundation throughout the regular football season.
“Partnering with the Young 9 Foundation allows us to use our restaurants as a platform for meaningful impact,” said Alan Springate, owner of ASM Group. “Mental wellness is a cause that touches every family and every community, and we’re proud to support the Young family’s mission.”
Long committed to giving back to the community, the Young 9 Roll is not the first charity partnership the ASM team has participated in; past beneficiaries include The Justin Thomas Foundation, The HEARTest Yard, Dream on 3 and Ronald McDonald House.
