Located in the heart of Blakely at 1944 South Main Street, Dickey’s is excited to share it’s delicious barbecue with Early County for the very first time.

Located inside the popular Marathon Gas fuel station, the new Dickey’s restaurant features indoor dining, online ordering and catering, making it easy for guests to enjoy their barbecue for any occasion. The new Blakely restaurant marks franchisee PJ Patel’s first Dickey’s location, however the barbecue franchisee is no stranger to hospitality and servitude as his family has owned and operated Marathon Gas since 1997. As an Early County High School graduate, Patel is a proud Blakely local and is excited to share his passion for barbecue with his beloved hometown community.

The Dickey’s difference starts with its approach to smoking premium cuts of brisket, pork, chicken and kielbasa sausage low and slow for hours over a proprietary applewood pellet blend. The barbecue brand, which has been serving smoked favorites since opening its first location in Texas in 1941, features classic American barbecue staples such as pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, barbecue beans and potato salad. In addition, longtime barbecue fans and newcomers alike can indulge their taste buds at the new Blakely location, which will also serve chicken wings, fall-off-the-bone ribs, loaded baked potatoes, brisket burnt ends and other rotating menu items

Blakely’s new Dickey’s location is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
