Destin, FL  (Restaurant News Release)  President/CEO and Founder Ron Green of Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) is pleased to announce the signing of a 10-store development agreement  with Jake Alleman, franchisee and Managing Partner of Cojak Investments, LLC. The first openings will be in Jacksonville (spring 2014) and Orlando (winter 2014). Alleman and his business partners, Cody Gielen and John Dan Gielen, plan to open four restaurants in Orlando with two additional restaurants in Jacksonville. They are also evaluating possible locations in Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, and Gainesville, and are confirmed to open in Fairhope, Alabama (fall 2014). Cojack Investments owns and operates existing Another Broken Egg Cafes in Lafayette, LA, Panama City Beach, FL. and Tuscaloosa, AL.

Jake Alleman worked at Another Broken Egg Café for Ron Green while in college in Mandeville, LA and Sandestin, FL. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he opened his first Another Broken Egg Cafe in Lafayette in December 2007, making him Green’s first franchisee.

Another Broken Egg Cafe Expands into North and Central Florida“The decision to develop in Central and North Florida was an easy one,” states Alleman.  “We see the growth of the brand and realized that the Southeast was sold out except for parts of Florida. We did not want to travel far from our existing restaurants in order to grow our company efficiently.  Another Broken Egg Café is well positioned in the breakfast segment and the unit economics are far better than most other casual restaurants that we have looked at.”

Another Broken Egg Café is an award-winning restaurant that will have 30 locations in operation by the end of the year.  Ron Green founded the first ABEC in 1996 on Girod Street in Old Mandeville, Louisiana.  For more information about restaurant locations, the history of ABEC and complete menus please visit www.AnotherBrokenEgg.com.
