The iconic all-American burger stand partners with acclaimed film director and screenwriter to bring limited-time menu offer to life with on-site experience

Los Angeles, CA  (Restaurant News ReleaseEli Roth‘s upcoming horror film Ice Cream Man will scoop up the scares at Los Angeles institution Irv’s Burgers for a limited-time collaboration celebrating the theatrical release. The partnership kicks off with the I-SCREAM Carnival at Irv’s La Brea location on July 18, featuring themed food, giveaways, photo opportunities and a special appearance by Roth. Transforming a local burger favorite into an immersive I-Scream Carnival, giving fans a real-world way to celebrate one of the summer’s most anticipated horror releases.

Fans can order the exclusive I-SCREAM CHILL(I) CHEESE COMBO MEAL, inspired by the film and available at all Irv’s locations through Aug. 9. The limited-time combo includes a Chili Cheese Dog topped with crushed Flamin’ Hot CHEETOS®, crispy fries and a vanilla milkshake finished with a strawberry purée drizzle and whipped cream. Guests can also score limited-edition Ice Cream Man merchandise, including custom Ice Cream Man hats, and exclusive free mini posters, available at all Irv’s locations, ahead of the film’s Aug. 7 theatrical release.*

The collaboration was born through a shared love of horror, making it an authentic local partnership rather than a traditional studio promotion. Ice Cream Man follows an idyllic summer town as it descends into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying consequences. Ice Cream Man is Roth’s first film under his The Horror Section banner, following the company’s launch in March 2025.

“I’ve been a horror movie fan for as long as I can remember, so when Eli Roth’s team approached us about collaborating on Ice Cream Man, it was an easy yes,” said Lawrence Longo, CEO of Irv’s Burgers. “I’ve always admired Eli’s ability to create unforgettable experiences, and that’s exactly what we strive to do at Irv’s. It’s a fun, unexpected summer collaboration that brings together great food, great storytelling and an experience our guests won’t forget.”
